When addressing a message to a name that is in an additional directory on the server (other customers with their own email domain) the Traveler client is only storing the name and not the email address. Then when the message is sent the Domino finds the recipient's name in the additional address book, assumes it's local and forms an email address using our email domain. Then is uses the forwarding address to get the message to the customer.
However when customer receives the message it shows their name with our email domain and if there are additional people on the message it is that way for them as well so that when someone tries to do a reply to all, it fails because those addresses are not valid.
If you look at the message in the Sent folder with the Notes client and Show Details, you can see that only the customer's name is in the message and not the email address.
Is anyone else seeing this and know the cause? It didn't use to do this and we're trying to go back to find when it started so that we can determine what caused the behavior to change.
