Subject: documented?
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Notes 8 Client
Technical Area: Functionality
Platform: Windows XP client
Release: Beta 3
Reproducible: Always

In most email programs when text such as "" is found it is turned into a hot link. I am investigating how to build a plugin for Notes 8 that will allow me to add hot links into emails and documents for other types of text (in my case phone numbers).

I found a sample in the IBM Productivity Tools Toolkit called C2A which attaches to the extension point.

Where do I get documentation for this extension point? I don't see it documented anywhere in the toolkit and searches on IBM PartnerWorld and DeveloperWorks turned up not a single reference!

Some questions I have... how do I get the recognizer to operate on all documents as it seems it only recognizes the keywords opened via the sample menu items? Also, how can I get the recognizer to work on emails?
