Subject: Spontaneous meeting chair change in archive
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes 8 Client
Technical Area: Functionality
Platform: Windows XP client
Release: Notes and Domino 8 - GOLD
Reproducible: Unknown

Background - We have a pilot Domino 8 server with only 2 mail accounts on it - mine and another developer (Marc Harting). The mail files are using the 8 template. We have automatic archiving with the archive on a Domino 7.x server.

I was looking for a Reminder in my archive and noticed a very strange thing - all meetings that I chaired (including some where I was the only attendee), have been modified to make Marc Harting the chair! He was not even invited to most of these meetings!

I reviewed $UpdatedBy and my name is the only one in the list. $Revisions has the original date of creation and the date archiving took place (several entries on that date).

The mail file owner is correctly listed with my name.

I have NOT had a name change (adminP or otherwise).

Reviewed Marc Harting's archived calendar and his is correct - we saw no meeting chairs that seemed to have been changed to other chairs; there were many listed correctly with him as the chair.

Has anyone ever seen something like this? Any ideas of what else I should look at to find out what happened?

Thanks in advance,
Marc Robson
