On a Domino 8 server I've enabled 'Create local mail file replica' in the Desktop Settings document. When installing a Notes 8 client, the replicas stub is created before setup completes. If I install a Notes 7 client, the replica stub is created in the background and continues to be replicated after the Notes setup has completed. The clients are being installed are over a T1 link and so the replication before setup completes in Notes 8 is noticeable.
I was just wondering if this was an intentional change in Notes 8. Thanks very much.
