Yes, I too have been looking into problems with DWA 8 and Firefox 2.0.0.10. It appears certain events that trigger a pop-up (e.g. move to folder, address confirmation dialog) are no longer working in FF 2.0.0.10. I've tried disabling all add-ons, confirmed pop-ups are allowed, and verified those same features still work in IE(6 & 7).
After first logging in, I usually get a new window with the following error:
A Domino Web Access script error has occurred that might result in missing data within the current page. If your current operation did not complete, click OK, and then refresh your browser display.

Looking at the FF error console, just prior to the bN has no properties error, a warning is issued: Use of captureEvents() is deprecated, see bug 330494. I'm guessing this may be related, but I didn't actually look at DWA errors in FF prior to updating to 2.0.0.10.
Unfortunately, I haven't made further progress than this.
