While trying to install Lotus Notes client 8.5.3 on a Windows XP system, the installation fails during the verifying stage. With the error: Verifying: "com.ibm.notes.roaming.provider.feature_1.5.3.20110916-0921"
The error log says: CWPPR0516W: An error occurred during the install of feature com.ibm.xsp.feature_8.5.3.20110915-2025
I have seen this on multiple systems, but some install without problems. Some are upgrades from 8.5.1 FP5 and others 8.0.1. On this specific system I uninstalled 8.5.1 wFP5 and then tried to install 8.5.3. Also, if I install the client using the Notes client Des Admin package it will install without errors.
