Subject: Bug in CSCalendarEntry library and question regarding generating an all day event
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Designer Client
Technical Area: Error Message
Platform: Windows XP client
Release: Beta 3
Reproducible: Always

I've got two issues, a bug in a script library and a question:

The bug:
Script library: CSCalendarEntry
Method: Sub FORMUpdateDateTimeItems( strItemName As String )

' there are times when the profile doc is not returning a value - possibly due to contention from the previous request
If Not Me.m_note.hasItem("tmpDefDuration") Then
If Me.m_beobject.CalendarProfile.Document Is Nothing Then
Msgbox "1"
End If
If Me.m_beobject.CalendarProfile.Document Is Nothing Or Not(Me.m_beobject.CalendarProfile.Document.hasitem("DefaultDuration")) Then
Call Me.m_note.ReplaceItemValue("tmpDefDuration",60)
Else
Call Me.m_note.ReplaceItemValue("tmpDefDuration",Cint(Me.m_beobject.CalendarProfile.Document.GetItemValue("DefaultDuration")(0)) )
End If
End If
ldefdur = Me.m_note.getitemvalue("tmpDefDuration")(0)

The red code snippet generates an error if Me.m_beobject.CalendarProfile.Document is null, because LotusScript does not use lazy evaluation and tries to evaluate the right part of the if clause in any case.

The question:
I'm playing around with the calendar classes in the mail database and the undocumented LotusScript class "NotesCSEventOwnerDocument".
Is this class documented anywhere???

I'm trying to generate an all day event in the backend with all the necessary fields, but currently I get the error message "Error trying to open document: Someone else modified this document at the same time" when I open the generated document in the client (the CalendarProfile.Document also seems to be null).
That message seems to come from NotesCSEventOwnerDocument.
