Trying to install the JVM patch for Domino 9.0.1 FP8, IF3 Windows 64 server.

The file is 9.0.1.8_Server_w64_JVM_Patch_20170508_203401.exe

The install fails and the JVMPatcher.log contains:

Patching tree diff from ".\jvm" to ".\jvm_dst" using diff file ".\patch.diff"...
You are attempting to patch:
pwa6460sr16fp30-20160726_01(SR16fp30))
With a patch that is valid for:
src1 pwa6480sr3fp22-20161213_02(SR3 FP22))
Tree diff file patch failed.

Is this the right file? It was listed at http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21657963

Which version of Domino?
Hi Howard,

Onto which version of Domino are you applying this JVM patch? The JVM versions that are listed in your question imply that you are attempting to patch a 1.6 JVM with the 1.8 JVM patch.

Starting with Domino 9.0.1FP8, the JVM should be version 1.8, and the output you included in your question points to the 9.0.1FP7 version (JVM 1.6) as the installed JVM on your system instead. If you are still running Domino 9.0.1 FP7, you will need to upgrade the server to FP8 before applying the new patch.

Thanks,
Rob
