How do you read SNAP files (written after a crash from HTTP JVM out of memory)?

How can you read the trc file generated when the server crashed with a Java out of memory error?
Snap dump written to E:\Lotus\Domino\Snap.20160426.111944.4212.0007.trc

I googled this and only found that Websphere ships a TraceFormat jar file that can convert this to a readable format. But that file is not on the Domino server.

Does it open with a standard text editor such as Notepad?
