From an end user's point of view, the would probably notice certain preferences being turned on/off that weren't before. So the client would behave differently, say, by having the mail file location switch from whatever they had it set to. I can understand the hesitancy to make the change. However, the changes is really limited to uncommenting those 4 lines. And if you use Designer to compare with an 8.53 pubnames.ntf, you'll see that they are not commented there. I think you are MORE at risk to have issues reported by your end users by not making the change then by making it. The pubnames.ntf will be changed in the next release to have these lines no longer commented out.]]></description>

A suggestion would be to create a similar document but with the emphasis on providing Sametime meeting access both internally and externally.
