Lotus Support news

The IBM Education Assistant (IEA)

  • Is a free collection of multimedia educational modules designed to help you gain a better understanding of IBM software products
  • Integrates narrated presentations, Show Me Demonstrations, tutorials, and resource links
  • Let's you access these materials by clicking on the left navigation panel, selecting the product, topic and the online education module
  • Currently covers the following Lotus Software products: Lotus Domino, Lotus Expeditor Version 6, Lotus Notes, Lotus Sametime, WebSphere Portal, and Workplace Web Content Management

What's new on the IBM Education Assistant (IEA)?

Keep an eye on IEA for more and more multimedia content from us.  Most of the multimedia content will exist in conjunction with a related technote.  For example, last week we updated a WebSphere Portal technote (which is hosted on our regular Lotus Support Web site) with a link to a new technical video overview (with audio), which is hosted on the IBM Education Assistant.

Near the bottom of the technote, you will see something like this when there is a related multimedia module(s) on IEA:

And while in the IBM Education Assistant itself, you will see multimedia modules listed like this, with their corresponding related technote(s) indented underneath it to illustrate their relationship:

We encourage you to learn more about it!
