Lotus Support news

I use a Notes 8 client to do my day-to-day work.  Today, after about a half hour of reading the help, Googling, searching the menus and asking around, I finally learned (from one of my peers) that you won't see the "Pass-thru HTML" option in the Text menu in Notes unless you have the Domino Designer client installed on your computer.  I installed the Designer client and poof - there it was in my Notes client menu!

We use this menu option when we have a sample URL in a technote, and we don't want it to be "clickable."  We highlight the sample URL and choose Text -> Pass-thru HTML.  Like in technote 1266959, if I didn't set the "reverseproxy1" URL to Pass-thru HTML, it would be a clickable broken link.

(Thanks JM!)
