Today is the official ship day for Sametime 8.0.  If the products are not on Passport Advantage yet, they will be very soon.  I installed the Sametime 8.0 Connect client (on top of my 7.5.1 Connect client) this morning and it has been running great.  My personal favorite new client feature is the improved screen capture, where you can draw lines and circles in your capture before pasting it in a chat.  :)

Here are links to the Download documents, that detail what images (files) you need to download:

Sametime Entry 8.0
Sametime Entry is an entry level offering that offers all the new features of instant messaging and awareness.  Sametime Entry does not include web conferencing.

Sametime Standard 8.0
Sametime Standard is the same Sametime we have always known and loved, but with some new features.

Sametime Gateway 8.0
Sametime Gateway is a platform for IM and presense with other IM communities, such as AIM, Yahoo!, Jabber, and Google Talk.

Sametime EMS 8.0
Sametime EMS manages multiple Sametime servers to provide a fault tolerant meeting center with fail-over capability.

And if you need more information, I would recommend reading Adam Gartenberg's summary about Sametime 8.0:  Announcing Lotus Sametime Standard 8 and Lotus Sametime Entry 8.

Lastly, the Sametime 8.0 Information Center is fantastic and just went live!
