Open Mic call: IBM Development & Support Engineers will host a Technical Exchange Open Mic call on the topic of IBM WebSphere Portal V6.1 performance tuning on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. EDT (2:00 GMT).
IBM Support Assistant LITE (ISALite) tool for WebSphere Portal provides automatic data collection and symptom analysis support for WebSphere Portal problem determination scenarios. For more information, refer to "Download the IBM Support Assistant Lite for WebSphere Portal tool (4005662)."
End of Support: WebSphere Application Server V6.0 has announced its general End of Support but is still supported with WebSphere Portal V6.0. Check the Product Lifecycle page for more information.
Flash: Broken images are observed in the Rich Text Editor (RTE) when using the Insert Image Or the Import HTML functionality (1397815)

Previously, the default "out of the box" themes and skins for WebSphere Portal have remained untouched by the automated portion of a fix pack installation and required manual steps to deploy the updated code. Beginning with refresh pack 1 for WebSphere Portal version 6.0 (6.0.1), the update will replace the default themes and skins if updates are provided, and any customized content will be replaced.
