Lotus Support news

One of the most frustrating things Domino administrators have to deal with is database corruption.  The best thing to do is avoid it.

Dan Newburg from the Server Core Support team just posted the Database Corruption Troubleshooting Guide to the Notes/Domino wiki. To prevent corruption, follow the Transaction Logging best practices, database maintenance steps, and keep regular backups of your data.  In the unfortunate event that corruption occurs, there are steps to try to repair the corruption.  And lastly, there is information to collect to send to Support if you need to call for assistance.
