Your guide to what's great about Notes 8 (and higher)

We've posted about Recent Contacts before--how they work, how to remove them, and more. See here for the past posts: More info on recent contacts

We've got some nice changes to Recent Contacts in Notes 8.5.2. Now it's easy to remove people from recent contacts, and to control who is added to recent contacts.

To remove an address from Recent Contacts, from the type-ahead list or the Recent Contacts list (from Contacts, click Recent Contacts in the navigation), simply right-click on the name you want to remove, and then select Delete.

To choose who is added to Recent Contacts, click File > Preferences, click Contacts, select Do not automatically add, and choose an option.

Here are the different options:

  • Do not add Cc and Bcc recipients to Recent Contacts
  • Only add address on emails you send (not emails you receive)
  • Do not add anyone to Recent Contacts
