Hi, Now this sample is not working in portal server any more. It is rendering the imported page as plain text not as html?

I'm using WPF6.1.5 and Portal V6.1.5 running on WAS7.0

Is there any fix?

Hi, Krishna,

Sorry for taking so long to fix this. I looked at all three attachments in the article; they all looked the same. (They should not have been embedded.) But I added all three as external attachments. Open the attachments list and click on the one you want to try. You should be able to save it to your local drive. Good Luck.

Also, for other readers, don't forget to enable public render parameters in WEF, otherwise the sample will not work. See "Support for navigation state stored in JSR-168/JSR-286 render parameters" section in the Portlet Adapter help.

Nice and helpful summary!

Rather than coding and using java reflection to set the public render parameter: If you are using a recent version of WPF/WEF, you can simply use the portletHelper.setRenderParameter(key,val) LJO method that the Portlet Adapter builder provides. In other words, the Button builder in your Publisher model can simply call portletHelper.setRenderParameter, passing OrderID and ${Inputs/namedTag}. This would allow you to completely remove your setRenderParam LJO code.

Yes this should work on newer versions of Portlet Fatory projects, There might be some new folders and objects that have been added since this was created. These files you would need to exclude yourself. But you could open the package and replace the .jazzignore file with the files you need added to all projects
