To add a certificate to the WAS 6.1 keystore you must use the Administration Console. Make sure the server is running, and hit the Administration Console with a Browser.
For example: http://localhost:10001/admin

To add a certificate to the WAS 6.1 keystore you must use the Administration Console.

Make sure the server is running, and hit the Administration Console with a Browser.

For example: http://localhost:10001/admin

Follow these steps:
  1. Export the certificate to a file, see Adding Security Certificates to a Deployment Server for Outbound Requests for detailed instructions.
  2. Navigate to:
    Security > SSL certificate and key management > Key stores and certificates > NodeDefaultTrustStore > Signer certificate

  3. Click on the "Add" button

  4. Click "Apply"
  5. Save your changes
