Abstract

This sample shows how to use the Connections Files Access builder to access Lotus Connections® 2.5 Files using IBM® WebSphere® Portlet Factory Version 7.0.0 (hereafter called Portlet Factory.) This sample includes a feature set and two project archives. The feature set can be added to Portlet Factory and used in a project to provide access to Lotus Connections 2.5 Files. The project archives can be imported into Portlet Factory to see how the feature set was developed and how it can be used.

Documentation. Information about this sample, including how to install and use the feature set and project archives. See the attached file "ConnectionsFilesAccess.pdf".

Feature Set. The Sample Connections Files Extension adds functionality for accessing Connections 2.5 Files, including the Connections Files Access builder. See the attached file "ConnectionsFiles.pkg".

Service Project. This project is used for developing the Connections Files Access builder and the Sample Connections Files Extension feature set. See the attached file "ConnectionsFilesService.zip".

Portlet Project. This project is used for developing the sample portlet, to show how the Connections Files Access builder and the Sample Connections Files Extension feature set are to be used. See the attached file "ConnectionsFilesPortlet.zip".

Accessing Connections 2.5 Files using IBM WebSphere Portlet Factory

Version 2 of the sample portlet has been posted. There are no changes to the documentation, feature set, or service project. The portlet project has been updated to more completely use Lotus One UI styles and to use the latest version of the Counter Image builder (http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/pfwiki.nsf/dx/Creating_a_custom_builder_to_automate_the_display_of_numerical_data_with_an_associated_image).
