To add a certificate to the WebSphere Application server you will use the iKeyman tool.
This tool is located in the AppServer\bin directory, and is named ikeyman.bat. Run the tool by clicking on the ikeyman.bat file or invoke it through the command line. You can run this tool with or without the server running, but you will need to restart the server once you add a certificate. From the iKeyman tool open the "cacerts" database that is used by the WebSphere Application Server JRE. The "cacerts" database is located in the ...\AppServer\java\jre\lib\security directory. You will need to specify a password to open the "cacerts" database. The default password is "changeit". You may need to check with your System Administrator if it is different.
To add to Eclipse point the iKeyman tool to the "cacerts" database used by your copy of Eclipse or RAD. The "cacerts" database can be found under \jre\lib\security. For example C:\ibm\WPF7\Eclipse\jre\lib\security.
Hit the "Add" button to select the certificate that you previously exported.
Once you select the certificate to import ensure that the proper Data type is also selected, and hit the "OK" button.
If your server is running you must restart it in order to pickup the new certificate.
