Extending WebSphere Portlet Factory with Custom Builders 

The presentation attached below is from the 2007 WebSphere Portal Technical Conference and describes how to create new builders for Portlet Factory.

In addition the following resources are available with WebSphere Portlet Factory.

• Making a Builder Tutorial - Is included int the installed product documentation. Look under Tutorials, Builder Tutorials in the Help contents. This tutorial is a recommended first step for making builders. It's a fairly short tutorial that goes through the process of creating a simple builder. At the end of that tutorial are some suggested next steps and additional resources.
• Sample builders in product - A Tutorials & Samples / Builders feature set is installed with WebSphere Portlet Factory and includes a few simple sample builders.
