This section includes samples and information related to the profiling functionality of Portlet Factory. Profiling in Portlet Factory can be used to create multiple variations of an application from a single source model. Profiling is also used to support runtime customization of applications, for example using the Edit and Configure functionality of WebSphere Portal.

This is a sample and tutorial showing the profiling features of Portlet Factory.

IBM - Client device profile selection
Shows how profiling can be used to generate different application variations for different client types, so that you can have one profile for a desktop browser and another for small mobile devices.
