Use the Data Field Modifier builder to override form behavior.
For any given element in the data, you can override the behavior the Data Page implements by using Data Field Modifier builder call, specifying the builder you'd like to use to control the element's behavior. In general, you override the default behavior for an element if you cannot adequately determine the elements behavior in the HTML page or in the schema associated with the data.
Some specific use cases that call for overriding the Data Page functionality include:
- Creating a link out of some data.
- Using the data to display an image (for example, the file name for a logo to use could be stored as part of the data).
To override an element default behavior with a form created using the Data Page builder, add a Data Field Modifier builder to your model and specify the element whose behavior you want to change.
