The Dojo Rich Text Editor builder adds a Dojo dijit.Editor
control to a specified location on an HTML page.
The Dojo dijit.Editor
control provides a rich HTML editing text area and features a toolbar for common edit tasks and an extensible plug-in architecture for adding new toolbar options. The content for editing must be in HTML format that conforms to the Dojo dijit.Editor
control. For more information on the Dojo dijit.Editor
control, see the documentation at the dojotoolkit.org
When this builder is used in a portlet, the content is encoded by the cross-site scripting security protection in the IBM® WebSphere® Portal server. For example, the angle bracket character (<
) is encoded as <
, and >
is encoded as >
. To save the content, use the Decode Content
input to first decode it.
For more information on cross-site scripting security protection, see the article related to troubleshooting security in the WebSphere Portal information center.
