You can hide a column or field that currently displays on a form or page.
If the column or field currently does not display, you can also arrange for it to be shown on the form or page. In the model editor in IBM® WebSphere® Portlet Factory, you use the Pages and Design panels to view the form or page to be changed.
- In the Pages panel, locate and select the form or page that contains the column or field to be changed.
- In the Design panel, locate and select the group that contains the column or field to be changed.
To select multiple objects of the same type, press Ctrl and click each group that contains them.
- Right-click the selection and click Data Field Settings -> Hide to prevent the column or field from being displayed or click Data Field Settings -> Show to cause the column or field to display.
You see the command only if a container is selected. The command that is available depends on the current setting for the selected object.
If the model does not contain a related builder for this form or page, a recommended builder is added to the model. If a related builder resides in the model for this form or page, the related input in that builder is updated with your change.
