Use the Inserted Page builder to insert the contents of an imported page into a named location in the specified pages.
Use this builder if you want to:
- include the same page in several applications
- include a page generated by a builder onto an existing page. For example, when a customer is selected from a select list, and you want to display a table below the select list.
- insert the display of a page in another model into a page in a primary model.
- insert the contents of a Page in the same model into a named location on a selected page or pages.
For example, you can display a copyright message and a set of links on the bottom of every page in your application. Using the Inserted Page builder, you can build this boilerplate page once. You can also use an Inserted Page builder to insert the display of a page in a linked model into a page in the primary model.
Do not attempt to insert a page into itself. An infinite loop results from such an operation.
