This topic describes the inputs for the Page Loading Indicator builder.
"Wait" Page Display
Table 1. General inputs
|Name||Enter a name for this builder call. The WebSphere® Portlet Factory Designer displays this name in the builder call list.|
|Action||Specify the action to be launched from the wait page (see "Wait" Page Display ). The wait page and progress indicator are shown until this results page is ready. The default value is main. This action must exist. It is renamed and replaced with a new action that shows the wait page.|
The results of the lengthy action are displayed when they are ready.
|Mode||Specify the treatment of the targeted action. |
automatic: rename existing method and replace with "wait page"
The targeted action is renamed and replaced with the wait page The builder automatically invokes the wait page and the targeted action. This option lets you use the wait page with no other changes in existing models. manual: need to call "wait page" explicitly
The builder simply creates this page to be called later. You must arrange for the wait page to be called.
|Defer OnLoad Event||Set this input to have the WebApp OnLoad event run after the wait page. Deferring the event is most useful when the Action input is main.|
"Wait" Page Display
The inputs in this group control the display of the wait page.

The theme used in the model determines the style sheet used. specify a style sheet to add
Choose a style sheet to be loaded on the wait page. do not add a style sheet
Only style sheets that come from the results HTML page are used. The builder applies any style sheets that come from the results HTML page. If these definitions are not already present on the page, some flicker can occur in the display. Choosing a style sheet to be loaded on the wait page can minimize this flicker.
|Style Sheet||Select a style sheet to include in the wait page. |
This input is available if the Style Sheet Handling input is set to specify a style sheet to add.
|Minimum Wait Time||Optionally select the minimum amount of time the wait page should be displayed. The lengthy action is not started until after this time passes. Setting this input lets this builder be used to make a splash screen. |
|Wait Time Units||Select the units used to interpret the Minimum Wait Time input value: seconds or milliseconds. |
