WebSphere Portal Version 6.0 or later is required.
You should be familiar with the Content Model in WebSphere Portal. Familiarity with Java Content Repository (JCR) and Service Data Objects (SDO) is also recommended.
This builder acts against the Content Model running on the WebSphere Portal server configured in your project server configuration. The following requirements must be met:
- You must have a server configuration correctly configured for your project.
- You must publish the project before you use this builder.
When you publish, the builder editor retrieves metadata (for example, document types or properties) from the Content Model using an internal support model that is published with the project.
- Global Security must be enabled.
If Global Security is not enabled, the builder cannot access the Content Model at runtime.
- If this builder is being used in a provider model, the Maintain State input in the Service Definition builder must be set to "Stateful: data is maintained across calls."
