You can override default labels that are generated by the Data Page builder.
The Data Page builder generates the labels for each form field according to element names defined in the schema associated with the data being displayed on the form. For example, the input label for an element <customer />
is "customer". Typically, you set your own label for each form field.
You can override the default input labels by using a properties file that lists each element name and the label to use for each. For example, <customer=Customer Name>
could be one entry in the properties file. In the form, the field corresponding with the <customer />
element in the data would be Customer Name
You can use the Data Page builder to generate a properties file containing an entry for each element on the form. You can then specify this properties file as the resource bundle for the Data Page builder to use.
