Accessibility of generated Web applications
To have an accessible Web application, the beginning of each page must include a document type declaration (DTD) that refers to a published DTD. WebSphere® Portlet Factory Designer does not add DTDs to pages because it is unknown to which DTD (if any) your application adheres. To obtain an accessible Web application that is generated by WebSphere Portlet Factory Designer, add a DTD in the following format to the application page.
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
The DTD should refer to the document type declaration that is supported.
