The Dojo Check Box builder creates a single Dojo Dijit check box on a page.
This builder is identical to the Check Box builder, with the exception that the user interface is rendered using the Dojo framework. For more information about the Dojo Dijit check box, see http://docs.dojocampus.org/dijit/form/CheckBox
If you are replacing a check box defined on the page with this builder, make sure that the chosen control tag in the original HTML code has a value attribute that is set as required for a given source. For example, if you specify the default value of this check box to be the result of a service call and the service call returns on
, the <INPUT>
tag in the original HTML needs its value attribute set to on
<INPUT type="checkbox" name="my_checkbox" value="on">
In this case, if the source service call returns on
, the check box is set to checked; otherwise it is set to unchecked.
Enabling check boxes
To enable the check box when the page is first displayed, set Default Value equal to Checked Value. If you do not enter anything for Checked Value, you can specify true for the default value.Returning check box values
To ensure that the check box always returns a value, be sure to set the Checked Value
and the Unchecked Value
