The Lazy Load builder arranges for the contents of a given page location to be loaded when the area in which the location resides becomes visible.
The Lazy Load builder displays action results at a given location on demand. This builder can do one of the following operations.
- Check the specified location periodically and load its contents when the location becomes visible. Visibility can be determined either by scrolling or by having the visibility of a parent element set.
- Listen for a specified client-side event that can be fired when the section should be loaded.
Prior to the section being loaded, the builder arranges for an alternate user interface (UI) to be shown in place of the content. By default, the builder loads a small animated graphic file to indicate that the content is being loaded.
