This topic describes the inputs for the Lotus Web Content Management Authoring builder.
- Lookup Tables
Table 1. General inputs
|Name||Required. Enter a name for this builder call. The WebSphere® Portlet Factory Designer displays this name in the builder call list.|
Table 2. Authentication inputs
|Runtime Authentication||Required. Select one of the following choices as the style of authentication that the builder runtime code uses when it connects to the target server instance. |
Use Implicit Credentials
The builder attempts to use credentials placed into the session when the user is authenticated to the application server or portal instance. If the session does not contain credentials, the builder authenticates itself as an anonymous user. Specify Explicit Credentials
The builder uses the explicit User Name and Password inputs to authenticate the user to the target server. Anonymous User
The builder authenticates itself as an anonymous user.
|Runtime User Name||This input is available if the Runtime Authentication input is set to Specify Explicit Credentials. |
Use this input to specify the name that the builder uses when it authenticates to the target server instance.
|Runtime Password||This input is available if the Runtime Authentication input is set to Specify Explicit Credentials. |
Use this input to specify the identity verification string that the builder uses when it authenticates to the target server instance.
|Designer Authentication||Select the properties file that contains the authentication credentials that IBM® WebSphere Portlet Factory Designer uses. The WebSphere Portlet Factory Designer uses the credentials to connect to the target server instance and retrieve metadata when you click Refresh Metadata. |
The default value for this input is /WEB-INF/config/lwcm_config/defaultCredentials.properties. The file defines the following properties.
The string to identify a user for authentication.password
The string used to verify user identity for authentication.A copy of this file is placed into your project when you add the Lotus® Web Content Management Extension.
|Refresh Metadata||Click to have the builder reload the available choices for the Document Library and Authoring Template inputs from the Lotus Web Content Management repository. |
|Document Library||Required. Specify the document library from which content is to be retrieved.|
|Authoring Template||Required. Specify the authoring template that is to be set during a create or update operation. |
|Filter by Authoring Template||Set this input to restrict the Lotus Web Content Management content that this builder returns to only that created with the template specified in the Authoring Template input. |
|Operations To Create||Select from the list the WebSphere Portlet Factory data service operations that the builder creates to interact with the Lotus Web Content Management repository. |
ListDuring a create operation, Lotus Web Content Management uses the initial stage of the document workflow to calculate the workflow stage.
Next Workflow Stage
Previous Workflow Stage
During an update operation, if the workflow is changed to a different workflow, Lotus Web Content Management restarts the document workflow at the initial stage.
|Retrieve File/Image Elements||Specify whether to retrieve Lotus Web Content Management file and image element binary data.|
Retrieve binary data for all operations. Restrict by Size
Specify a maximum size, over which binary data is not to be retrieved. Never
Do not retrieve binary data any time.
|File/Image Element Max Size||Specify the number of kilobytes to be the maximum size to limit retrieval of binary data for file and image elements in the Lotus Web Content Management repository. The default size is 16. |
This input is available if the Retrieve File/Image Elements input is set to Restrict by Size.
The inputs in this group are available if Search
is one of the operations selected in the Operations To Create
Table 3. Search inputs
|Search Mode||Specify whether to match any condition or all conditions defined in the Search Conditions input. |
|Search Conditions||Define the search conditions. |
Select from the list the Lotus Web Content Management document property to search against. Operator
Select the operator for comparing the document property against the specified value. Value
Optionally provide a value to compare. If this input is blank or set to (Make input to service operation), the field becomes an input to the search service operation. Input Name
Optionally provide a name for the input element created in the service operation input schema. If this field is left blank, the value from the Property field is used as the element name. Date Format
Specify an optional date format string to use to compare against date properties. The default value is YYYY-MM-dd.
Table 4. Schema inputs
|Enable Schema Caching||Set this input to enable caching of the schema that is built from the Lotus Web Content Management authoring template.|
|Create Multi Value Elements||Set this input to enable the creation of multiple value (unbounded) elements in the Lotus Web Content Management schema. The following elements are set to unbounded when this input is enabled. |
Table 5. Lookup Tables inputs
|Lookup Tables To Define||Select from the following list lookup tables that the builder can create for Lotus Web Content Management content. |
|Create Lookup Tables||Set this input to create the defined lookup tables. |
|Lookup Table Refresh Interval (secs)||Enter the number of seconds that the data to be used for the lookup table should be retained in the cache. Leave the input blank to disable caching. The default value is 120. |
This input is available if the Create Lookup Tables input is set.
Table 6. Advanced inputs
|Use Existing Service Definition||Set this input to add the service operations created by this builder to an existing service definition.|
|Data Service||Select the data service from one of the existing service definitions in the model. The service operations that this builder creates are added to the specified service definition. |
This input is available if the Use Existing Service Definition input is set.
