Follow these steps to publish an application to a remote AMI instance:
- Edit your local systems hosts file and map the AMI public and internal host names in your hosts file (usually located C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts or /etc/hosts).
184.108.40.206 ee1-123-456-789-123.computer.amazonaws.com ip-11-123-456-789-ee1.internal
- Open the SOAP_CONNECTOR_ADDRESS and the WC_defaulthost ports on your AMI instance, using for example, the Elasticfox Extension for your Firefox browser.
To find the settings for your environment, from the IBM WebSphere Application Server console, select Servers -> Application Servers -> WebSphere_Portal, and in the right hand column, select Ports.
