You can use a dialog to help you specify a model as a builder input.
Many builders have a Model
input that requires you to specify a model. Clicking the ellipsis button (
) displays the Model Chooser dialog in which you can navigate to and select a model. By default, the specification of the model location used in the builder is an absolute reference to the model.
There is an option (Use relative model reference
) to make the model reference be a relative reference. Thus, the reference from model A to model B is based on the location of model A within the models folder. With a relative reference, if you move or copy both models together from one folder to another, the new copy of model A refers to the new copy of model B. With an absolute reference, the new copy of model A would still refer to the original copy of model B in its original location.
