Why not at least share the DMs

This is unfortunate that the WCL and Quickr run on portal but you cannot run them together. I know WCL won't run on portal 6.1 and Quickr can only be installed on its own portal.

Anyway, at the least why don't you run just one WebSphere Deployment Manager 6.1 for the quickr, wcl, and portal 6.1 clusters??? This will save 2 DMs. Or you can run all 3 DMs on one VM if you don't want to consolidate them, I've done that for a project I'm heading.

Also, I would used Sametime 8.0.2 which will be out any day now, which has many fixes, especially if you are doing web conferencing using Voice over IP.
