We have today released Content Template Catalog v4.3 (CTC4,3) on the Solutions Catalog! 
CTC4.3 can be downloaded at this link 

CTC 4.3 provides advanced tolerance with the Digital Experience v8.5 platform, with the aim of simplifying the role of the site author and site developer.

Features include:

Create an index page and details page in one click
Guided creation of page content
Placeholder text guides the site author through the process of creating content using inline edit
Simplified adding of portlets to the page
The CTC portlets are now available from the Create Content tab in the toolbar
New list builder portlet
Users can now more easily add a list to the page using the list builder portlet, which guides them through the process of configuring the list.
Content Template Catalog pages and portlets no longer require the CTC Content profile
The Content Template Catalog portlets make uses of the new Portlet resource aggregation framework to load the resource that they need without having to use the CTC Content profile
New Getting Started Guide for site authors and site developers
The CTC rendering plug-ins are now included in Web Content Manager
The CTC rendering inline edit styles are now included in Web Content Manager
The render component in context pattern is implemented using tags
The sections navigator is implemented using tags
