Mobile Content Enabler for IBM WCM 

In today’s fast pace environment, we are facing with explosive growth of mobile devices and high demand of content delivery to the mobile device users.  It is essential that your site content can be delivered seamlessly to these mobile devices.

Currently the content data from the Rich text elements in the WCM content items can not be properly delivered to the mobile devices such as iPhones or BlackBerries.  The Rich text content data must be transformed to the XML Device Independent Markup Extensions (XDIME) format in order for the content data to be rendered on the mobile devices.  It will require a lot of time and effort to plan and manually transform the Rich Text data in all the WCM content to XDIME format for the mobile devices. 

The Mobile Content Enabler for WCM Utility provides the capabilities to enable the users to systematically and quickly retrieve the data from the Rich Text elements in the WCM content items, and transform the data to XDIME format suitable for the mobile devices.  This utility will save the users a lot of time and effort, and it will increase the productivity for the content authors and administrators.
