Re: WebSphere Portal 6.1.5 Feature Pack is available

The recommended way to upgrade to WebSphere Portal 6.1.5.2 depends on which readme was used to upgrade to WebSphere Portal 6.1.0.5.

Inside the WebSphere Portal 6.1.0.5 readme in the "About Fix Pack 6.1.0.5" section, is a link to the instructions on upgrading to WebSphere Portal 6.1.5.2.

The instructions to upgrade to WebSphere Portal 6.1.5.2 is different depending on which readme was used to upgrade to WebSphere Portal 6.1.0.5, so

used the WebSphere Portal 6.1.0.5 readme that was used to upgrade your system to get to the WebSphere Portal 6.1.5.2 readme instructions.

Re: WebSphere Portal 6.1.5 Feature Pack is available

We have our current portal at WPS-6.1.0.5.

And would like to migrate to v6.1.5.2... Is it possible to use the same instructions to enable 6.1.5 feature pack as given in this tutorial? Or is 6.1.0.3 required to enable 6.1.5 feature pack?

I cannot find clear info about moving from 6.1.0.5 to 6.1.5.2.

Thank you.

You can upgrade to 6.1.5 without having to downgrade your WAS level.

upgrade on WAS 7.0.0.15 possible ?

I have WAS 7.0.0.15 with WPS 6.1.0.3 in our environment. Can I upgrade to WPS 6.1.5 directly or do I need to downgrade WAS to 7.0.0.5 before applying WPS 6.1.5 ?

Thanks ...
