This tutorial is designed to guide a content author through the steps to edit and create new content for an existing site. This tutorial was created for Lotus Web Content Management 6.0. If you are using version 6.1, the Jumpstart sites were included with the product.
During this tutorial you will:
- Access the Jumpstart site as an authenticated and non-authenticated user.
- Tour the content on the home page.
- Access the Jumpstart Intranet Site and view the various content types.
- Navigate list to detail for content items.
- Change an announcement. (Save and close no approval required)
Note security applied for Add and Edit capability for content management.
Optional activities will include:
- Add a new industry news Item (with approvals).
- Add a new featured news Item and link to the general item (with approvals).
- See your new items in the list and the new feature.
Prerequisites
Before you get started, you will need to:
