In this tutorial, you will use IBM Lotus Web Content Management V6 to create a new site that is modeled from the sample Jumpstart site that is part of WebSphere Portal Express. This site may be installed in any WebSphere Portal environment and used as a model site.
During this tutorial you will:
1. Create a new site framework with corresponding news content.
2. Configure the Portlet that displays a list of your news content and the detailed item.
3. Embed in the display the capability to easily edit and add content to your site.
Before you begin you will need to install the Jumpstart that is included with Portal Express. This tutorial will guide you through various ways to utilize the Web Content Management features reusing the sample Jumpstart site that may be installed in your current Web Content Management server.
