The Mobile theme contains a compat.css
file in the dav:fs-type1:\themes\mobile\css
directory, which contains styles for non-Webkit browsers. There is a link to file compat.css
file in the head.jsp
file. The compat.css
file is not supported. For more information, see Adding compatibility for nonsupported browsers.
Not all portlets that come packaged ready for use with WebSphere
® Portal run on the mobile theme, this affects mostly administration portlets. Support is limited to keep the mobile theme small and clean.
The following portlets are not ready for use:
- Administration portlets
- Portlets that require Dojo
helper functions is used, and they are in the dav:fs-type1:\themes\mobile\js\base
directory. A link to the Dojo library is available in the head.jsp
file, which can be uncommented to include the library. Other libraries of your choice can also be added to the head.jsp

Adding compatibility for non-supported browsers
- Blackberry Playbook users should click the arrow buttons for navigation, instead of swiping when using the Scroller and Carousel navigation types. Swiping for the Scroller and Carousel navigations work correctly for Playbook OS version 220.127.116.110, but does not work well on all OS versions for the Blackberry Playbook.
- The Select layout is not supported on Blackberry devices.
- The Carousel and Scroller navigation types display only one level of navigation. The Drilldown navigation type displays three levels of navigation. It is important that you make sure the startLevel parameter on the dynamic content spot is correct when trying to display a certain set of pages.
