You should already have extracted CTCInstall.zip
to a directory on the server where you want to install Content Template Catalog and customized the ctc.properties
file to specify which components to install.
Follow these steps to run the installation scripts.
- Start the installation program from the command line. If you did not set the administrator passwords in the wkplc.properties file, you must add them to the command line with the syntax:
-PortalAdminPwd password -WasPassword password
ctc-install.batAIX® HP-UX Linux™
When the script finishes successfully, the installation is complete.
- Restart the server to enable features used by Content Template Catalog.
- When the server restarts, open a web browser and navigate to the Portal Administration page to check that Content Template Catalog installed successfully. If you installed the demo content, you see a new set of pages at the page root.
After installing Content Template Catalog on all servers where your site is deployed, you can deploy your own content and pages. You can also deploy any modified assets in the same way you would deploy other Portal applications and content assets. For more information, see the product documentation.
