The difference between the two versions of this portlet is the placement of the image and text. The first version floats the image to the left and the second floats the image to the right. When either of these versions are dragged into the sidebar column, the text drops underneath.
This portlet requires editing after being placed on the page to indicate which area or content item to link to. After dragging it onto the page and saving the page, the author must go into edit mode and modify the component configuration. Browse for the site area or content item in the “Context Override” field and then save and close the item. The landing navigation block then renders details and a link.
The first example shows the landing navigation portlet in the main column with the image on the left.
The second example shows the landing navigation portlet in a sidebar column, where the text falls below the image automatically.
