Upgrading the Content Template Catalog 3 theme to IBM WebSphere Portal 184.108.40.206
If you upgraded from IBM
® Portal 7 to IBM WebSphere
Portal 220.127.116.11, content and pages created with Content Template Catalog 3 are migrated to WebSphere
Portal 18.104.22.168 automatically. However, you must move the Content Template Catalog 3 theme to the WebSphere
Portal 22.214.171.124 server to preserve the designs. You do not need to do this if you are upgrading Content Template Catalog sites that were running on WebSphere
Portal 126.96.36.199 because the theme is stored in a new location.
Preserving library changes after upgrading
If you have modified items in the CTC Demo or the CTC Process libraries, install and then reapply your changes.
Preserving theme changes after upgrading Content Template Catalog
The theme in Content Template Catalog 4.1.2 is now part of the Portal 188.8.131.52 theme. If you are upgrading from Content Template Catalog 3.0 or 3.1, to make an existing theme work with the new Content Template Catalog layouts and themes, some high-level CSS class changes are required. If you are upgrading from Content Template Catalog 4.0 to 4.1.2, different changes to the theme are required.
Breadcrumbs and top-level site areas
Breadcrumbs in Content Template Catalog version 4.1.2 have been updated to display navigation from the top-level down, and to also recognize the Hide from navigation
setting on all levels of the site framework. You will need to update existing sites that use an extra top-level site if you do not want this to display in the site navigation.
Creating a custom search page
For websites that allow anonymous users to view the site, you will need to configure search to allow anonymous users to search your site, if you have not done so already.
