|You must have IBM® WebSphere Portal 188.8.131.52 installed so that you can enable or disable the new modularized themes. New modularized themes only apply to a specific profile. You can also update existing themes to use modules.
You create themes using modules that allow you to selectively enable and disable features as needed. You get and easy way to develop a theme and better website performance. You can disable components that are not needed. This ability also eases development of a theme. Learn more about disabling and enabling the theme.

Installing a new theme
You install a modularized theme to a specific profile. If you want to make that theme available for an additional profile, perform the same steps from the additional profile directory.
Updating an existing theme to use the new features
Update an existing theme to use modules by making the theme and skins modular. After a theme is modularized, you can upgrade to Dojo 1.6.1 and use the prepackaged modules in the module profile of each theme.
