Administration 2.5 Linux

hi,my Domino Server and Lotus Protector Appliance(ip is 172.19.1.10) worked well. Today I found send emails to Internet then received Delivery Failure Report:
Your document: Check Mailer Domain
was not delivered to: wit@gmail.com
because: Error transferring to 172.19.1.10; SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error 505 Your domain has no DNS/MX entries
I can receive emails from Internet but cann't send emails.
So I log into web interface,in the navigation pane on the left,go to "SMTP"--Configuration--Receiving SMTP--settings--Check Mailer Domain, uncheck it.now emails is OK.
what is the problem?is my DNS or LP appliance problem?any comments?

2 I build a domino Server use my notebook,I use a exist domain as my domino domain.like @acme.com,then I registed a user and send emails to our company!of course,it a fake domain emails system.Sadly,it is as a normal email.then I send it to gmail and yahoo mail system etc,Do it as spam.
I don't check Enable Reverse DNS Lookup in Receiving SMTP settings.because many domains don't do PTR record.
Does LP appliance has any SPF check rules?
