We have observed that since 1st May we have problems with network from time to time. This happened twice already.
When the issue comes we cannot ping the protector interfaces and cannot ping anything from Protector VM. This is causing the mail flow down. The only thing we can do then is to open vSphere console, log to the Protector CLI and restart the machine. That's resolving our issue.
When the problem appears we are getting the error "ping: sendmsg: Operation not permitted".
We tried restarting the network interfaces, BIND Server and so on. Only system restart resolving that issue.
I have read that it can be connected with iptables. Next time I'll try to restart iptables and see what will happen.
Any ideas what is going on? Anyone experienced same issue before?
