When you create a new document using the Places Sidebar in Notes, the dialog is modal. So it is impossible to copy/paste metadata from an email body or other Notes document. I suppose making this dialog to behave as a "topmost" window, but not modal, would require a programming change. Is anyone else running into this issue and/or agree this might be a good enhancement request?
