Quickr 8 J2EE - Artefacts Archival

I need to 'Archive' the artefacts like Blog Entries, Documents & WiKi Entries after certain period of time, when they are no longer required on-line in Quickr 8 J2EE. I should be able to move them to some back-end storage system (and hence not visible to the end-users) but should be able to restore again, when required.
How would I achieve this 'archival' solution ?
